Deborah Hill: MA, BSc (Clinical Hypnosis), HPD.
I am a Sheffield based Hypnotherapist,
conveniently located in the city centre, where you and I can work in partnership to successfully achieve your goal.
My Sheffield Hypnotherapy practice has been established for over 10 years and I am a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
Corona Virus
Throughout 2020 I have offered sessions via Zoom. This worked so well that I am continuing this in 2022. Zoom is a free online platform and is very easy to install on your computer.

Your Mind is your most valuable resource.
If you are ready to make changes in your life, Hypnotherapy will help you to achieve them.
Hypnotherapy does involve talking and listening. However it differs from counselling in that it is an ‘interventionist’ approach. An intervention will be prepared by the hypnotherapist based on what the client has discussed and expressed.
Words are key to successful hypnotherapy. We all use words to reinforce our own behaviour and values. Hypnotherapy works with metaphors, visualisations and hypnotic and post hypnotic suggestions. A skilful hypnotherapist listens to what a client is saying and uses words effectively to bring about positive change. Words do Work!!
More often than not, you have the knowledge of your issue and you know what you need to change. However, the problem is implementation of the required change. This is where talking to a Hypnotherapist can help.
Because I have over 10 years experience of working with a range of issues including behavioural difficulties such as unwanted habits or cognitive thought processes leading to difficulties with self-esteem, confidence, anxiety and depression, I believe that most people, with a bit of help, have the resources within them to make the changes that they want. So if you have an issue and are unsure whether hypnotherapy can help, please do drop me a line.
I will help you develop awareness of your own resources, abilities, knowledge, understanding and capabilities and provide you with enabling strategies for change. This change could be represented in new ways of thinking, new ways of using language to communicate, new perceptions, changing attitudes, new ways of responding to a problem or a person, altered behaviours, increased self-understanding, increased optimism or feelings of well-being.
I look forward to working with you!
Deborah Hill.
